Our Forward10 Volunteerism Model

Our Forward10 Volunteerism Model encourages our employee-owners to explore their individual interests in philanthropy, hands-on service and civic engagement. This exciting work-life balance benefit program celebrates our employee-owners' contributions to their local communities and allows them the time and financial resources to volunteer and give back exponentially.

To empower our employee-owners to create positive change in our communities, our Forward10 model is dedicated to three pillars:

  • Philanthropy
  • Hands-on service
  • Civic engagement

Our Philanthropic Promise

We define philanthropy as the practice of giving money or participating in activities to help make life better for others. As a company, we match dollar-for-dollar any full-time employee's donation to a registered 501(c)3 organization. Employees can select their three favorite charities per calendar year, thus doubling their love many times over!

Our employee-owners currently give to:

  • Almost Home Foundation
  • ALS
  • Animal House Shelter Dash for Dogs
  • Capes for Kids
  • Children's Oncology Services
  • Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
  • Extra Life
  • Forever Husky
  • Gary D. Wright Elementary
  • JDRF
  • Lemont Indians Youth Travel Baseball
  • Live Like Mike
  • Mutual Ground
  • Office Depot Foundation
  • Project Open Hand
  • Secret Santa, Inc.
  • Shoes That Fit
  • Jude Children's Research Hospital
  • Take the Edge Off Autism
  • Two Ten Footwear Foundation
  • U-46 District School Supplies Drive
  • Wright-Way Rescue

Our Hands-On Service Promise

We recognize that philanthropic giving is vitally important to charities, but hands-on service is priceless. We define hands-on service as the physical contribution to the welfare of others. As a company, we provide eight personal time-off hours per calendar year so our employees may find the time they need to give back to worthy causes that are important to them.

Our employees currently lend their time and talents to:

  • DC Central Kitchen
  • Elmhurst School District
  • Feed My Starving Children
  • Gary D. Wright Elementary
  • LifeSource
  • Love Hope Strength Foundation
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Huntley Youth Football League

  • Northern Illinois Food Bank
  • Raising Hope
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities
  • Secret Santa, Inc.
  • Teal Pumpkin Project
  • Timber Trails Elementary School
  • Wauconda Grade School
  • Youth Conservation Corp

Our Civic Engagement Promise

To not only be a good neighbor, but an active one is the greatest contribution one can give to their local or greater global community. The collective actions of many to address public issues is how we define civic engagement.

Our employees currently civically engage through:

  • Local Voter Registration Drives
  • DuPage County Board
  • Huntley Youth Football League
  • Political Caucuses
  • Election judgeship
  • School PTOs
  • Veteran Affairs
