Level 10 provides installation and deployment services for retail point of sale and telecommunication systems with the ability to roll out large amounts of equipment quickly and efficiently.  To ensure the successful completion of the project and easier invoicing, technicians upload documented requirements and digital photos to our online customer portal, allowing the viewing and management of the information 24/7/365.

Retail Site Surveys: General, Cabling & RF Wireless Surveys

While each retailer is unique, so is each store within a multi-chain retailer. Store square footage, number of terminals, the type of POS hardware & peripherals being utilized, cabling – all of it can vary from store to store. That’s why an accurate, detailed site survey is critical to a project’s success.

Level 10 offers several different types of site surveys depending on your needs – General, Wireless and Cabling. Each survey provides a thorough inspection of the store with accurate recording of all information generated. Once complete, the information and digital photos are uploaded to our online customer portal, allowing the viewing and management of the information 24/7/365.

General Site Surveys include:

  • Site inspection
  • Site dimensions and elevation documenting
  • Facility and safety audits
  • Detailed equipment audits (including serial number capture if applicable)
  • Digital site photos

Wireless Site Surveys include:

  • Site dimensions and elevation documenting
  • Site inspection, including RF obstacles or potential barriers; areas that are highly used and not used; preliminary access point identification such as power and wired network access, cell coverage and overlap, channel selection, and mounting locations and antenna.
  • Actual surveying verifying AP location
  • Detailed documentation including the locations and log of signal readings as well as data rates at outer boundaries.
  • Digital site photos 

Cabling Survey includes:

  • Site dimensions and elevation documenting
  • Site inspection including EIA/TIA, NEC and BISCI code adherence
  • Cable topology mapping
  • Digital site photos
